The SIMS Foundation respects and acknowledges the Cammeraygal people as the First People and Traditional Custodians of the land and waterways on which the Sydney Institute of Marine Science is situated.

We acknowledge Elders past, present and emerging.

The Sydney Institute of Marine Science Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation with charitable status that has been established to work closely with SIMS and its scientists to help progress our understanding, protection and sustainable use of the marine environment. Donations to the SIMS Foundation are tax deductable and help provide long-term support for research, research training and community engagement at SIMS.
